Concours de Lecture
En avril 2004 nous avons voulu faire un concours. Frédéric Girot a trouvé le concours de la SEDRAP pour les écoles à l’étranger. Le concours était d’écrire une nouvelle. Donc l'école française de Charlotte et nous, nous avons décidé de travailler ensemble. Comme Lynchburg est si loin de Charlotte nous nous sommes parlés au téléphone. Mes amis écrivaient, mais moi je faisais les dessins. Notre livre parle d'un garçon, Sébastien, qui va déménager en Amérique pendant la ségrégation. Nous sommes arrivés en 2ieme place du concours; et pour célébrer cela, nous sommes allés au zoo et on a rencontré nos amis de Charlotte.
Writing contest
In April 2004 we wanted to do a contest. Frederic Girot found a contest from SEDRAP (book publisher) for French schools overseas. The contest was about writing a story. So the Charlotte school and we decided to do it together. As Lynchburg is so far away from Charlotte we talked together on the phone. My friends were writing, and I was drawing. Our book is talking about a boy, Sébastien, who is moving to the United States during the segregation. We won second place of the contest and to celebrate that, we went to the zoo and we met the friends from Charlotte.
